Environment when using the thermal printer:

Clean the surface of the thermal printer:

Clean the internal parts of the printer:
(1) Check and replace the ribbon:
For example, the WINPAL thermal transfer printers such as WP300A and WP-T3A, it is essential to regularly inspect the ribbon. If you notice any damage or wear, replace it immediately to avoid affecting the printing effect.
(2) Clean the print head:
- Turn off the thermal printer power before cleaning the print head.
- Use the Thermal Printer Cleaning Tool: a cleaning pen or cotton swab dipped in diluted alcohol to clean the print head from the middle to both sides.Â
- Wait for the alcohol to evaporate and the print head to dry completely before using.
(3) Clean sensors, cots, and paper paths:
- Open the top cover of the thermal printer and remove the paper roll.
- Use a dry, soft cloth or swab to wipe away dust and foreign matter.
- Dip a soft cloth or swab in medical alcohol to remove sticky foreign matter or other contaminants.
- Wait for the alcohol to evaporate and for the printer to dry completely before using.
If you plan to stop using the thermal printer for a period of time, turn off the power. However, if you don’t use the thermal printer for a long time, we suggest turning it on occasionally to prevent moisture buildup.
